Xingiu Nie, M.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
Xingju Nie, M.D. is a postdoctoral researcher working on MODS and wound healing
biology. He earned his M.D. at the Shandong University Medical School and his
Master’s degree at Peking University Health Science Center. His past
research experience included studying keloids under the direction of professor
Zelian Qin. He began his clinical training in plastic surgery at the department
of Plastic Surgery of Peking University. His research interests are MODS, keloids
and wound healing.
Zhen Wang, M.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Wang is a postdoctoral research fellow working on keloid biology and cellular
responses to stress. He earned his M.D. at the Fourth Military Medical School
in Xi’an, China. There, he performed clinical training in plastic surgery.
He is the recipient of a Smile Train Foundation Research Fellowship.
Christie Ham, M.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
Christie earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her MD at the University of Miami in Florida. She comes to us after completing two years in General Surgery residency here at Stanford. She will be working on the role of the hypoxia response and hypoxia inducible factor (HIF)-1 in renal injury.
